Kids Bowl Free
A summer program run with participating bowling centers in the U.S., Canada and on U.S. military bases. Registered kids get 2 free games of bowling every day of the center's season. The program has run since 2007 at more than 1,300 locations.
- When
- Summer only. Each bowling center sets its own program start and end dates and which days and times coupons can be used, and posts them on its Kids Bowl Free registration page. No 2027 season dates are posted yet.
- Ages
- Each bowling center sets its own age limit, shown on its registration page.
- Cost
- The 2 games a day are free for registered kids. Shoe rental depends on the center: some include it, some charge a per-visit or season shoe fee, and you can bring your own bowling shoes. The optional Family Pass starts at $24.95. It covers up to 4 adult family members with 2 games each per day, and you can buy it any time during the program.
- Sign-up
- Find a participating center on kidsbowlfree.com and create an account at that center. You can register up to 6 kids per account and must re-register every season. Coupons appear in your account on the center's start date, and an email with that week's coupons goes out every Sunday. Print the coupons and bring them. You can switch centers once, within 14 days of joining. Another center needs a separate account with a different email address.
- Kids get
- 2 free games of bowling per day during the center's season.
Tips from the official pages
- Before you sign up, read your center's registration page for its dates, age limit, days and times, and shoe policy.
- Print the coupons. The program says you need paper coupons at the center.
- Budget for shoes unless your center says they're included, or bring your own bowling shoes.
- Register again each summer. Last year's account does not carry over.
